The IEC National Fire Alarm Course provides you everything you need as an IEC Chapter Executive Director to offer fire alarm certification training – including 12-weeks of instructor-led live online classes, the student manual | workbook, promotional materials and student registration site!
The course provides 48 hours of training delivered each week for 12 weeks on the IEC national CMS system, with live online classes and interaction with the instructor. Readings, homework, labs and other course material should be completed by the student in between the weekly classes. Upon course completion students should schedule their NICET exam at a local facility.
Who Should Attend:
Live Online Classes will be held at 6 PM EST on class dates listed below. You and your registered students will receive email notifications from IEC National in January 2024 on how to access the live classroom.
The classes will be recorded and available to registered students until December 31, 2024.
About the Instructor:
Merton Bunker, PE has more than 23 years of engineering experience including 7 years at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), where Merton served as both Signaling Engineer and Chief Electrical Engineer. Merton has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), a Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM), and is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
